At the ripe old age of 5, my square dancing career began with Smiling Squares, the children's club of the Heidelberg Howdowners . Together with others founded I the Sandwi(t)ches, a Plus Club, and the Keller Swingers, danced regulary at the Swinging Stars and the Heidelberg Howdowners, as well as the Carousels Round Dance Club.
Square Dance up to A2, Round Dance up to Phase V and particularly Phase VI.
2003 graduated in Clogging.
Touched the microphone the first time at the Carousels Round Dance Club. I received my Black Badge (ECTA Cuer) at the 1982 Winter Jamboree in Seeheim-Jugendheim and the White Badge (now Active ECTA Cuer & Teacher) one and a half years later, at the Summer Jamboree in Brussels.
The fist club to cue on regulary base at the Mannheim Old West, until she moved to the Rhein-Main area.
In 1995, beeing one of the founders of the Flying Toasters in Kelkheim, Germany and I have been their club cuer ever since. The club held a surprise dance in 2012 for my 30 cueing anniversary.
1989 bis 1990 I subsituded Angelika Seng at Beaux & Belles SDC as Club-Cuer and returned in 2012. The club celebrated the 40th anniversary as cuer in 2022.
Beeing a member of the European Callers and Teachers Association (ECTA) I served as RD-Coordinator from 1994-1996 and also member of Roundalab serving as the Chairman of the Phase II Committee in 2022.
Regulary I am cueing from Phase II to IV-V.
